Centric relation is essential for reconstructive dentistry. It is a reliable and repeatable reference position when the dentist reestablishes the patient's occlusion. Nevertheless, the definition of centric relation is still unclear, and methods of recording centric relation are controversial.
This presentation will review the definition of centric relation, methods of recording centric relation, and verification of the registered record.
The audience will learn what centric relation really is and the recommended methods of recording centric relation.
