About me

Since 2016, he has been working at an Endodontic center in The Hague, Netherlands, where he has successfully managed numerous cases of dental trauma (tooth fractures, tooth displacements after accidents, falls, etc.) in both children and adults. Dr. Nestor Tzimpoulas Dr. Nestor Tzimpoulasis the first and only Greek dentist so farto have received the award/certification of expertise in the treatment and management of dental traumas in children and adults, after successfully passing the examinations by the International Association of Dental Traumatology-IADTFellowship Award of the International Association of Dental Traumatology–IADT (2021). Dr. Nestor Tzimpoulas has been the first author or researcher in numerous research papers published in recognized international scientific journals. He has delivered lectures and participated in scientific conferences both in Greece and abroad, focusing on clinical topics related to the management of dental trauma, pulp therapy, and endodontic treatments of permanent teeth with curved and non-curved root canals, as well as the management of resorptions and the use of modern bio-ceramic materials. He has also overseen the translation into Greek of the international first aid application for dental trauma "ToothSOS" by the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT), as well as the official translation into Greek of the latest official guidelines from IADT for the management of dental trauma (Dental Trauma Guidelines 2020). In 2021, Dr. Tzimpoulas founded an integrated electronic platformwww.dentaltrauma.grwith the aim of providing comprehensive information to Greek patients and dentists regarding the prevention, first aid, and management of complex cases of dental trauma.
